Practical consumer checklist
Consumer Help: Documenting a Travel Booking or Payment Dispute
Create a clear record, protect sensitive information and use the appropriate official reporting or payment-dispute route.
Independence notice: this is not an official booking, ticketing or customer-care page. It accepts no travel payments.
1. Preserve evidence
Save the offer, booking confirmation, payment reference, messages, call records, journey details and refund communications.
2. Write a concise complaint
Describe what happened in date order, separate facts from assumptions and state the exact resolution requested.
3. Contact the relevant provider
Send the complaint through a traceable channel and keep the acknowledgement or ticket number.
4. Escalate appropriately
Depending on the facts, contact your bank or payment provider, a consumer authority, cybercrime reporting channel or a qualified lawyer. Urgent payment fraud should be reported promptly.
5. Publish carefully
Redact sensitive personal data and avoid presenting disputed allegations as proven criminal findings.
